Every bespoke jewellery commission is unique, so the cost depends on the design, precious metals and gemstones you choose. We work with a range of budgets and will provide a detailed quotation before any work begins.
How does the bespoke jewellery process work?
Every bespoke commission starts with a conversation about your ideas and inspiration. Lucy will then create an original design before your jewellery is handcrafted using the finest materials. Once completed, your piece is independently hallmarked in Sheffield, UK and beautifully presented.
How long does a bespoke jewellery commission take?
Most bespoke jewellery commissions take between 4 and 8 weeks from design approval. If you need your jewellery for a special occasion, please let us know and we'll always do our best to accommodate your deadline.
Can I commission bespoke jewellery if I don't live near Chester?
Absolutely. We regularly work with clients throughout the UK and internationally. Your consultation can take place by phone, video call or email, allowing you to commission bespoke jewellery wherever you are.
Can I choose my own diamonds or gemstones?
Yes. We can source a beautiful selection of natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and coloured gemstones to suit both your design and budget. We'll guide you through the options to help you find the perfect stone.

Yes. Every bespoke jewellery commission is personally designed by Lucy Quartermaine and created exclusively for you. Each piece is made to your specification and will never be mass-produced.

What precious metals do you work with?
We create bespoke jewellery in 9ct gold, 14ct gold, 18ct gold and Platinum depending on your design and requirements. We can also advise on the most suitable metal for your lifestyle and budget.
Is my bespoke jewellery hallmarked?
Yes. Every piece that requires hallmarking is independently hallmarked in the UK giving you complete confidence in the quality and authenticity of your jewellery.
Do you offer bespoke jewellery consultations?
Yes. Every bespoke commission begins with a personal consultation where we'll discuss your ideas, inspiration, preferred materials and budget before the design process begins.
Do you remodel or redesign existing jewellery?
No. Our bespoke service focuses exclusively on creating original jewellery from scratch. We do not offer jewellery remodelling or alterations to existing pieces.
